Why is Corterve free for patients?
Because research needs you, not the other way around. Studies routinely struggle to find participants, so research sponsors and sites pay Corterve to connect with people who choose to take part. Charging patients would only slow down the connections everyone benefits from — so we don't.
Will I ever be charged?
No. Matching, alerts, referrals, and booking are free for patients — permanently. Many studies actually compensate participants for their time and travel (each study sets its own terms).
What happens with my information?
Your health details live in an isolated, encrypted vault and are only shared with a study's research team after you explicitly consent to that specific referral. Every access is audit-logged. You can withdraw at any time.
Is this medical advice?
No — Corterve shows you studies you may fit based on your answers. Final eligibility is always determined by the study team, and joining any study is entirely your choice. Talk with your doctor about what's right for you.
