Rhomboid Intercostal Sub-serratus Plane Blocks and Erector Spinae Plane Block in Mastectomy Surgeries
Acute post-mastectomy pain can cause adverse impacts on the patients as delayed discharge from post-operative recovery area, impairs pulmonary and immune functions, increases risk of ileus, thromboembolism, myocardial infarction and may lead to increased length of hospital stay. It is also an important factor leading to the development of chronic post mastectomy pain syndrome (PMPS) in almost half of the patients. Various regional anesthetic techniques have been described for postoperative pain relief after mastectomy, for example, thoracic epidural anesthesia, intercostal nerve block, paravertebral block, serratus anterior plane block, and pectoral nerve I and II blocks. "Osseodensification Efficacy on Molar Septum Expansion in Immediate Molar Implant Placement
The ideal positioning of immediate implants in molar extraction sockets often requires the osteotomy to be in the interradicular septum, which can be challenging in some cases, with traditional site preparation techniques. Also, the alveolar ridge undergoes various remodeling processes following tooth extraction, resulting in hard and soft tissue loss which complicates prosthodontic rehabilitation. Immediate implant placement help preserve the alveolar ridge dimensions and buccal ridge contour. While osseodensification has shown promise in enhancing primary stability and bone microarchitecture, its clinical and microstructural effects in molar extraction sockets remain underexplored. Although there is ample documentation of information on the temperature that is generated during preparation of implant sites, there are no studies available in the literature comparing conventional drilling and osseodensification techniques; therefore, the present investigation was aimed at analyzing the efficacy of osseodensification compared to conventional drilling in terms of bone dimensions preservation , changes in bone architecture during implant site preparation and heat generation to define which technique can be safely applied to achieve the necessary implant primary stability without damaging the surrounding bone. Long-term Safety of UAS-assisted vs Sheathless RIRS in Non-prestented Patients
This retrospective comparative cohort study will include adult patients who underwent primary RIRS for renal stones โค20 mm at Al-Azhar University Hospitals between January 2020 and December 2025. Patients will be classified by whether a ureteral access sheath (UAS) was used during the index RIRS, and all eligible patients will be invited for active long-term follow-up (minimum 12 months) to assess the composite outcome of delayed ipsilateral ureteral stricture or new/progressive ipsilateral hydronephrosis and other safety and efficacy outcomes. Propensity-score methods and adjusted regression analyses will be used to control confounding.
HILT Dose Optimization for Knee Osteoarthritis Pain
This study aims to find the best settings (dose) for High-Intensity Laser Therapy (HILT) to reduce pain and improve function in people with moderate knee osteoarthritis. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of three different doses of HILT (low, medium, or high) or a sham (placebo) laser treatment, three times a week for four weeks. The main outcomes measured will be changes in knee pain (using a pain scale) and knee function (using a questionnaire) from the beginning to the end of the 4-week treatment period.

The Effect of Intrawound Vancomycin Powder in Spine Surgery
Problem: Postoperative wound infection following various spinal surgeries is a serious complication. The incidence of post-surgical wounds in spine surgery is high, and various researchers have reported different infection rates. In addition, increased healthcare costs, prolonged lengths of stay in hospital, and reduced quality of life as a result of surgical site infections (SSI) are also major concerns. Several methods for avoiding SSI, such as betadine irrigation, vacuum-assisted closure, and intra-wound vancomycin powder, have been used to reduce the rate of wound infection in spine surgery. Use of local vancomycin has been popular because of its protective effects and lower cost. According to some reports, prophylactic administration of intra-wound vancomycin powder before wound closure is an effective method for decreasing postoperative wound infection rates; however, other studies have revealed a non-significant effect of intra-wound vancomycin use for decreasing the postsurgical wound infection rate. Solution: Therefore, the investigators will prospectively randomize all various types of spinal surgeries to patients who will receive intrawound vancomycin powder and control group who will not receive the powder and to see it's effect in reducing the post-surgical infection.
