A Study Testing the Combination of Dasatinib or Imatinib to Chemotherapy Treatment With Blinatumomab for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults With Philadelphia Chromosome Positive (Ph+) or ABL-Class Philadelphia Chromosome-Like (Ph-Like) B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL)

This pilot trial assesses the effect of the combination of blinatumomab with dasatinib or imatinib and standard chemotherapy for treating patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) or ABL-class Philadelphia chromosome-like (Ph-like) B-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). Blinatumomab is a bispecific antibody that binds to two different proteins-one on the surface of cancer cells and one on the surface of cells in the immune system. An antibody is a protein made by the immune system to help fight infections and other harmful processes/cells/molecules. Blinatumomab may bind to the cancer cell and a T cell (which plays a key role in the immune system's fighting response) at the same time. Blinatumomab may strengthen the immune system's ability to fight cancer cells by activating the body's own immune cells to destroy the tumor. Dasatinib and imatinib are in a class of medications called tyrosine kinase inhibitors. They work by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply, which may help keep cancer cells from growing. Giving blinatumomab and dasatinib or imatinib in combination with standard chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with Ph+ or Ph-like ABL-class B-ALL than dasatinib or imatinib with chemotherapy.

rTMS to Target Neural Connectivity and Rumination in Treatment-Resistant Depression

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to part of the brain called the ventromedial prefrontal cortex (VMPFC) can treat a symptom called rumination in adults with major depression that has not responded to at least one medication trial. The main question it aims to answer are: Does TMS to the VMPFC change brain activity on functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) during a negative self-referential processing task in adults with depression? Does TMS to the VMPFC affect rumination in adults with depression? Researchers will compare brain scans and rumination scores before, during, and immediately after TMS. Participants will: Undergo three functional MRI scans Undergo a course of 20 TMS treatments Respond to clinical questionnaires and complete a computer behavioral task

The primary objective of the FALCON study is to evaluate the efficacy of KL1333 on selected disease manifestations of primary mitochondrial disease (PMD) following 48 weeks of treatment. This objective involves evaluating the efficacy of KL1333 versus placebo on fatigue symptoms and impacts on daily living as well as on functional lower extremity strength and endurance. Effect of the HCC Liver-Link Intervention

This study is a pilot, multi-center randomized controlled trial testing the HCC Liver-Link intervention, a culturally tailored, multi-level program designed to reduce racial disparities in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) care. The intervention combines: (1) patient education to improve HCC-related disease and treatment knowledge, (2) social needs and substance use screening with referral to social work and community resources, and (3) facilitated access to subspecialty cancer care through a multidisciplinary HCC tumor board. A total of 40 Black patients with Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) stage 0, A, or downstaged B disease will be randomized to receive either the HCC Liver-Link intervention or usual care and followed for 6 months or until liver transplant waitlisting. Primary outcomes are time to receipt of curative therapies (liver transplantation or resection) and change in HCC-related knowledge. Findings will inform development of larger interventions to eliminate racial disparities in HCC outcomes.

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a complication of diabetes in which blood vessels supplying blood to the back of the eye (retina) are dysfunctional. This can lead to an improper supply of oxygen and nutrients to the retinal tissue, or it may trigger the formation of new blood vessels in response to the oxygen/nutrient deficiency. Ultimately affecting the normal vision. There is no known marker that will provide information on the health status of retinal blood vessels. Using highly specialized cells in the blood, this study will try to discover a marker of DR.

Impact of Sentinel Lymph Node Mapping on Patient Reported Lower Extremity Limb Dysfunction in Stage I Endometrial Cancer

This phase III trial compares the effect of sentinel lymph node mapping to standard lymph node dissection in reducing the risk of swelling in the legs (lymphedema) in patients undergoing a hysterectomy for stage I endometrial cancer. Standard lymph node dissection removes lymph nodes around the uterus during a hysterectomy to look for spread of cancer from the uterus to nearby lymph nodes. Sentinel lymph node mapping uses a special dye and camera to look for cancer that may have spread to nearby lymph nodes. Comparing the results of the procedures may help doctors predict the risk of long-term swelling in the legs.

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate patient-reported pain, bleeding, and device efficiency along with provider satisfaction and ease of use between IUD insertions using a suction cervical stabilizer (new device, FDA approved, atraumatic) and single-tooth tenaculum (standard, traumatic). A Study to Compare Standard Therapy to Treat Hodgkin Lymphoma to the Use of Two Drugs, Brentuximab Vedotin and Nivolumab

This phase III trial compares the effect of adding immunotherapy (brentuximab vedotin and nivolumab) to standard treatment (chemotherapy with or without radiation) to the standard treatment alone in improving survival in patients with stage I and II classical Hodgkin lymphoma. Brentuximab vedotin is in a class of medications called antibody-drug conjugates. It is made of a monoclonal antibody called brentuximab that is linked to a cytotoxic agent called vedotin. Brentuximab attaches to CD30 positive lymphoma cells in a targeted way and delivers vedotin to kill them. A monoclonal antibody is a type of protein that can bind to certain targets in the body, such as molecules that cause the body to make an immune response (antigens). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs such as doxorubicin hydrochloride, bleomycin sulfate, vinblastine sulfate, dacarbazine, and procarbazine hydrochloride work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Cyclophosphamide is in a class of medications called alkylating agents. It works by damaging the cell's deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill cancer cells. It may also lower the body's immune response. Etoposide is in a class of medications known as podophyllotoxin derivatives. It blocks a certain enzyme needed for cell division and DNA repair and may kill cancer cells. Vincristine is in a class of medications called vinca alkaloids. It works by stopping cancer cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Prednisone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It is used to reduce inflammation and lower the body's immune response to help lessen the side effects of chemotherapy drugs. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Adding immunotherapy to the standard treatment of chemotherapy with or without radiation may increase survival and/or fewer short-term or long-term side effects in patients with classical Hodgkin lymphoma compared to the standard treatment alone.
