Effectiveness of PRP Pharmacopuncture for Chronic Neck Pain in Cervical Myofascial Syndrome of the Upper Trapezius
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn whether pharmacopuncture with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is effective for treating chronic neck pain in cervical myofascial syndrome related to the upper trapezius muscle. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Is pharmacopuncture with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) effective in reducing chronic neck pain in patients with cervical myofascial syndrome related to the upper trapezius muscle? 2. Does PRP pharmacopuncture improve functional outcomes and quality of life in these patients? 3. Are there any adverse effects associated with PRP pharmacopuncture in this context? Researchers will compare PRP pharmacopuncture to normal saline pharmacopuncture (placebo) to evaluate whether PRP provides greater effectiveness in reducing chronic neck pain in cervical myofascial syndrome related to the upper trapezius muscle. Participants will: * Receive a single session of pharmacopuncture therapy * Undergo evaluations at week 2, week 4, and week 8 after the intervention
The Effect of Propolis Administration on Cholesterol Level in Diabetic Type 2 Patients
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if propolis administration works to change the level of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) and High Density Lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) in diabetic type 2 patients. The main questions it aims to answer are: \- Is giving 1 drops/ 10kg/ times, twice daily for 8 weeks will change the level of LDL and HDL level in diabetic type 2 patients compared to placebo? Researchers will compare propolis to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug) to see if propolis works to change LDL and HDL cholesterol level. Participants will: * Take propolis or a placebo, 2 times daily with given dose (1 drops/10 kg/times) every day for 2 months * Visit the sub-district health centre once every 2 weeks for checkups * Get their blood checked before and after intervention
Effect of Vitamin C Supplementation in Corneal Endothelial Damage in Phacoemulsification of Patients with Hard Cataracts
The goal of this clinical trial is to analyze the protective effects of oral ascorbic acid on the corneal endothelial layer undergoing oxidative stress due to phacoemulsification in patients with hard cataracts. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Will oral vitamin C administration provide better protection to the corneal endothelium in hard cataract phacoemulsification by comparing preoperative and postoperative administration, preoperative only, and no administration? 2. How does oxidative stress (MDA levels) in the aqueous humour increase after oral vitamin C administration compared to no administration? 3. Will there any changes in MDA levels in the aqueous humour and blood after oral vitamin C administration compared to no administration? 4. Does MDA levels in the aqueous humour correlate with MDA levels in the blood? Researchers will compare vitamin C to a placebo to see if vitamin C as an antioxidant works in preventing corneal endothelial damage due to phacoemulsification. Participants will: * Take 500 mg of oral vitamin C or placebo three times a day for seven days prior to phacoemulsification * Undergo phacoemulsification * Take vitamin C or placebo three times a day for 28 days after phacoemulsification * Visit the ophthalmology clinic 1, 7, 28, and 42 days post-operative for checkups * Keep a logbook to record the drug they take and to write symptoms of possible side effect of the drug
Fontan Outcomes in Oligemia vs Plethora in Univentricular CHD
This prospective cohort study evaluates differences in clinical outcomes between pulmonary oligemia and pulmonary plethora in patients with cyanotic congenital heart disease and univentricular heart physiology undergoing staged palliation culminating in the Fontan procedure.Fifty-two patients will be classified into two groups based on pulmonary blood flow characteristics and followed for approximately 1.5 years after the Fontan procedure. Outcomes include mortality, morbidity, pulmonary hemodynamics, functional capacity, neurocognitive status, and quality of life.
Analgesic Efficacy of Combined PECS II and PIP Block Versus Thoracic Paravertebral Block Post-Mastectomy
Postoperative pain management is crucial for patients undergoing mastectomy for breast cancer. Regional analgesia techniques, such as the Thoracic Paravertebral Block (TPVB), are commonly used to reduce pain and opioid consumption; however, TPVB carries potential risks, including pneumothorax. Interfascial plane blocks, specifically the Pectoral Nerve II (PECS II) block combined with the Superficial Parasternal Intercostal Plane (PIP) block, have emerged as alternative techniques to provide comprehensive analgesia to both the lateral and anterior chest wall. The purpose of this randomized controlled trial is to evaluate and compare the analgesic efficacy and quality of postoperative recovery between a combination of ultrasound-guided PECS II and PIP blocks versus the standard Thoracic Paravertebral Block (TPVB) in patients undergoing mastectomy with or without axillary lymph node dissection (ALND). Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the combined PECS II and PIP block or the TPVB following general anesthesia induction. Pain scores, total opioid consumption, time to first analgesic request, quality of recovery using the QoR-15 questionnaire, and potential block-related complications will be monitored and compared over the 24-hour postoperative period.

The goal of this study is to rigorously evaluate the effectiveness of the DOJO 3.0 learning methodology in enhancing research skills and scientific writing among researchers in Indonesia compared to non-DOJO learning method. The main questions it aims to answer are: How effective is the Dojo 3.0 methodology in improving participants' research skills and scientific writing, including critical thinking, data analysis ability, knowledge acquisition, and scientific manuscript quality and publication progress? How do participants' experiences, perceptions of the learning process and teaching quality, as well as their engagement, performance, and learning behaviors, differ between the intervention (DOJO) and control groups throughout the program? Researchers will compare two groups, control group and intervention group to see if there is a significant difference between these two groups. Office Program Effects on Pain, Posture, Muscle Physiology, Stress, Ergonomics, and Quality of Life in LBP Workers
This interventional study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an office worker's program in reducing low back pain and improving physical and psychosocial outcomes among office employees. The primary objective is to determine the effects of the intervention on pain, lumbar posture, muscle physiology (including core stability, flexibility, fatigue, and endurance), ergonomics, stress levels, and quality of life across different intervention groups. Participants will be assigned to one of three groups: Group 1: Exercise program, posture education, and standing advice Group 2: Posture education and standing advice Group 3: standing advice only The study will compare outcomes between groups to identify which combination of interventions provides the greatest benefits for office workers with a tendency to experience low back pain.
Effect GnRH Agonist Administration in Endometriosis Cyst Patients
Endometriosis is a chronic disease that affects 10-15% of women of childbearing age. The most common symptom is pelvic pain. One of the treatment options that has been proven effective in treating endometriosis symptoms, including endometriosis pain, is triptorelin. Triptorelin has also received a distribution permit in Indonesia for the treatment of endometriosis. However, patient compliance in using this drug is very low due to high medical costs and side effects of the drug. Standard treatment with triptorelin is generally given every 4 weeks. A previous preliminary study showed that triptorelin could be given at 6-week interval and provided treatment results that were no different from those at 4-week interval. This is certainly better, because with longer interval doses it can reduce medical costs, reduce side effects due to hormone suppression and can increase patient compliance in undergoing treatment. Therefore, in this study triptorelin will be given to 2 groups and observed for 18 weeks. The first group will be given triptorelin twice before surgery, each with an interval of 6 weeks, at baseline and week-6. Then triptorelin will be given again once after surgery at week-12. In the second group, triptorelin will be given once after surgery at week-12. In this study, the effect of triptorelin on the treatment of endometriosis will be measured based on the improvement in the degree of pain felt by the subjects using a visual analogue scale (VAS) at baseline, week-6, week-12 (prior to surgery) and week-18; Anti Mullerian Hormone (AMH) levels, and estradiol levels before triptorelin administration (at baseline) and prior to surgery (week-12). The condition of the uterus and cysts will also be evaluated at the time of surgery.
