A Research Study Comparing CDR132L With Placebo on the Structure and Function of the Heart in People With Heart Failure With Reduced/Mildly Reduced Ejection Fraction and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy
This study will look into how CDR132L (a potential new medicine) works on the structure and function of the heart in people living with heart failure. Participants will either get CDR132L or placebo (a medicine which has no effect on the body), which treatment the participants get is decided by chance. The study will last for about 60 weeks.
AEF0217 in Participants With Down Syndrome
The goal of this clinical trial is to identify if AEF0217 show an improvement in adaptive behaviors (daily life activities) in adults and older adolescents with Down Syndrome. It will also learn about the safety of AEF0217. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does AEF0217 improve the daily life activities of the participants after being administered daily for 24 weeks ? * Does AEF0217 improve fluid cognitive function (cognitive abilities that do not depend on prior knowledge) and the crystallised one (knowledge acquired through one's culture, including verbal ability and social knowledge), the quality of life and sleep of the participants after being administered daily for 24 weeks ? * What medical problems do participants have when taking AEF0217? Researchers will compare 3 doses of AEF0217 to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug) to see if AEF0217 improves adaptative behaviours in people with Down Syndrome. Participants will: * Take AEF0217 or a placebo every day for 24 weeks * Visit the clinic 6 times with their caregiver for checkups, performing tests on a tablet and answering questionnaires. * Be called by phone at home 5 times to check that they are well.

Comparison Between Bipolar Transurethral Resection of the Prostate and Moses Assisted Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate
Introduction: Multiple studies have demonstrated the superiority of HoLEP in aspects such as transfusión rates or postoperative stay. On the other hand, no differences have been observed in terms of functional outcomes between both techniques, and surgical times reported in different studies tend to be longer for HoLEP. These results likely contribute to TURP, especially with bipolar energy (Bi-TURP), continuing to be considered by many the gold standard for surgical treatment of BPH. Sofware and hardware upgrades to the Lumenis Pulse 120H. system in 2017, delivered MOSES 2.0, a single-use laser fibre used to perform MOSES augmented HoLEP (MoLEP). MoLEP has shown to be superior in intraoperative outcomes when compared to traditional HoLEP. The availability of new morcellators might also decrease surgical time for HoLEP. This changing landscape for BPH endoscopic surgery deserves a re-evaluation of the differences between Bi-TURP and MoLEP. Primary Objective: To compare the hospital stay of patients of patients undergoing MoLEP with those undergoing Bi-TURP. Secondary objectives: * To compare the surgical time of MoLEP with that of Bi-TURP. * To compare the bladder catheterization time aCer MoLEP with that of Bi-TURP. * To compare the postoperative complication rate patients undergoing MoLEP with those undergoing Bi-TURP. * To compare functional results of patients undergoing MoLEP with those undergoing Bi-TURP. This study is a prospective multicentric randomized and controlled trial. The study compares two types of BPH surgery without changing standard medical practice. The study will include patients who are candidates according to standard medical practice for BPH surgery. Patients will be randomized to one of two groups of treatment. * The MoLEP group will receive surgical treatment with MoLEP. * The Bi-TURP group will receive surgical treatment with Bi-TURP. Surgical technique and postoperative care will follow standard clinical practice at each participating centre.
A Study of PRMT5 Inhibitor BAY 3713372 in Participants With MTAP-deleted Solid Tumors
The study treatment, BAY 3713372, is under development to treat MTAP (methylthioadenosine phosphorylase)-deleted solid tumors. It is thought to work by blocking the protein arginine N-methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5). This may kill the MTAP-deleted cancer cells while sparing the normal cells. The main objective of this first-in-human study is to learn how safe BAY 3713372 is, how the body processes it, and how well it works in people with MTAP-deleted solid tumors. For this, the researchers will study and analyze: * the number of participants who have adverse events (AEs) after receiving different doses of BAY 3713372 and the AE's severity. * the number of participants who experience dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) after receiving different doses of BAY 3713372, the DLT's severity and how often they happened. A DLT is a pre-defined medical problem caused by a specific dose of a drug that is too severe to continue using that dose. * the total amount of BAY 3713372 in participants' blood (also called AUC) over time after single and multiple doses. * the highest level of BAY 3713372 in participants' blood (also called Cmax) after single and multiple doses. Other than the main objective, researchers will also check for the number of participants who show a response to treatment and how long they live without the cancer getting worse. The study participants will take part in one of the eight distinct groups or "intervention cohorts" of the study. The study will start with a dose escalation phase where distinct groups of participants will receive different doses of BAY 3713372 alone to find the dose that is deemed safe and works best for the participants. When this dose has been found, a larger number of participants will receive BAY 3713372 alone or with other treatments in a dose expansion phase. Participants may take the study treatment as long as they benefit from the treatment without any severe medical problems. Participants will visit the study site: * at least twice before the treatment starts * multiple times when they start taking the treatment * once after 30 days of receiving the last dose and every 9 weeks after that until the cancer worsens, or the participant stops for any other reason During the study, the doctors and their study team will: * check participants' health by performing tests such as blood and urine tests, and checking heart health using an electrocardiogram * check if the participants' cancer has grown and/or spread using computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and, if needed, bone scan * take tumor samples The study doctors and their team will contact the participants every 3 months until 2 years after the last participant's last dose or the end of the study to learn about the participant's health.
A Trial on the Clinical and Socioeconomic Impact of Wearable Exoskeletons for Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation in the Spanish Healthcare System
This clinical trial aims to collect evidence on the clinical benefits and the socioeconomic impact of integrating a novel wearable powered lower-limb exoskeleton for gait rehabilitation in acute/subacute spinal cord injured individuals and to evaluate the efficiency of this technology to the current standard of care in the Spanish Healthcare System (SNS).. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is robotic therapy for gait rehabilitation more effective and efficient than conventional therapy? * Does robotic therapy for gait rehabilitation reduce the burden on healthcare professionals and caregivers? * Does robotic therapy for gait rehabilitation reduce direct healthcare costs? * Does robotic therapy for gait rehabilitation reduce intervention-related costs? Researchers will compare a novel wearable powered lower-limb exoskeleton for gait rehabilitation to conventional therapy to see if the robotic exoskeleton is more effective and efficient in improving clinical benefits and to assess if it reduces the burden of healthcare professionals and caregivers, as well as healthcare and intervention-related costs. Participants will: * Be randomized on a 1:1 basis to receive rehabilitation treatment with either the robotic exoskeleton or conventional therapy for gait recovery, 3 times a week on non-consecutive days for 8 weeks (24-session program). * Undergo a pre- and post-intervention assessment of clinical, functional, physiological, psychological, and socioeconomic variables. * Have a follow-up visit 2 months after the end of the treatment.
ORACLE: Observation of ResiduAl Cancer With Liquid Biopsy Evaluation
The purpose of ORACLE is to demonstrate the ability of a novel ctDNA assay developed by Guardant Health to detect recurrence in individuals treated for early-stage solid tumors. It is necessary that ctDNA test results are linked to clinical outcomes in order to demonstrate clinical validity for recurrence detection and explore its value in a healthcare environment subject to cost containment.
PEARL Study: PotEntial of Asciminib in the eaRly Treatment of CML
A phase 2, interventional, randomized unblinded study will be conducted in newly diagnosed CP CML patients, to investigate the efficacy and the safety of asciminib at a dose of 80 mg QD as single agent (arm A) or 40 mg BID in combination with nilotinib 300 mg BID (arm B). All patients in both arm A and arm B will be treated for a minimum of 2 years (core phase). If they will have achieved a DMR (MR4), or if it will be in the interest of the patient, the treatment will be continued. During the consolidation phase (2 years) asciminib will be continued at the same dose in both arms; in the combination arm the nilotinib dose will be reduced to 300 mg daily. The patients maintaining a stable MR4 up to the end of the fourth year will discontinue the treatment (TFR phase). The rate of TFR at 5 year (1 year after discontinuation) will be evaluated.
Early Internal Fixation Versus NonOperative Care With Early Rehabilitation for LC1 Fragility Fractures of the Pelvis
The goal of this randomized pilot study is to assess feasibility of the trial and to collect information to inform the design of a definitive trial. Adult patients ages 60 years or older with a low-energy lateral compression type 1 (LC1) pelvis fracture with \<10 mm initial displacement of the posterior pelvic ring will be eligible to participate in the study. Patients will be randomized to one of two treatment groups, early internal fixation or nonoperative care with early rehabilitation, defined as at least five days of attempted mobilization by rehabilitation providers. Participants will be followed for 1 year.
